To celebrate The Colors first ever tour of Australia, drummer/composer Alon Ilsar decided to create and release The Colors Tribute Album Vol. 1. It features The Colors Tribute Band, Gauche, Eddie Perfect and the Renovators, Comatone and Foley and Eugene Schofield-Georgeson doing various covers across multiple genres from this great proto-seminal New York band's massive 1956-1981 repertoire. No recording of the actual band exists and this is the first ever recording of The Colors that credits their song writing. Also featured with the album are rare artworks made by The Colors' core member Alex Moler, put together by Adelaide based artist James Fosdike.
