Life Like Liquid, the surf and sound film by Dave Rastovich and Low Pressure Productions, was created when a crew of well-known surfing musicians filled a beach house with musical instruments, a diverse array of innovative surfboards and an intention to explore the similarities between playing improvised music and surfing.
The double album soundtrack features 3 hours of music, being the cream of the 50 hours of music captured. The diverse array of tracks feature artists such as Tony Hughes (King Tide), Ash Grunwald, Chris Lane and Stu Fergie (Oka), Sol Carroll and OJ Newcomb (Band of Frequencies, Afro Dizzi Act, Banawurun), Terepai Richmond (The Whitlams, Missy Higgins, d.i.g.) Colin O’Rielly (The Winnie Coopers), Dave Rastovich and other special guests.
