Opening with the juicy classic 'Collie Herbman' by Katchafire, the pace continues with 'Come Listen' – a new rocksteady gem by Brisbane's Kooii. Mista Savona's recent adventures in Jamaica have culminated with the irresistable 'Know Yourself' and newcomer to the scene Georgia Potter has emerged with arguably the most memorable tune of the compilation 'Take it Down'.

The utmost care has been taken by producers Paulie B and Rudekat to ensure a smooth transition into the exquisite dubs of the Bird and the Nomad, the exotic funk of Golden Sound and Kafka, the surf guitars of the Beans and finally into the soul territory of Declan Kelly and Little Bushman. Along the way the listener will discover the exciting sounds of new and emerging artists such as Kingfisha, Mr Laneous and the Band of Frequencies.

Besides being a wicked compilation, Island Vibe is a festival of roots music, dance and circus held annually on Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah). Over three days in October a massive line-up of diverse acts perform on four stages by the beach at Australia's most chilled eco friendly festival.
