URBAN GYPSIES - BEAUTIFUL CATASTROPHE

Urban Gypsies have performed at numerous festivals and clubs around Australia for almost a decade. They have held residencies and sold out concerts in exclusive venues including The Vanguard, Perth Concert Hall, Perth Entertainment Centre, Side on Cafe, Cargo Bar, Café Sydney, Watershed Hotel and Hemmesphere. Among their many highlights they also supported and played with the Buena Vista Social Club, Cassandra Wilson, Kristina Olsen, Lolo Lovina and Demis Roussos.

Beautiful Catastrophe is their third album. Passionate, soulful, stunning compositions, hypnotic rhythms, Beautiful Catastrophe is a sophisticated mix of Jazz and Latin instrumental guitar. Urban Gypsies' sumptuous melodies and masterful acoustic guitar playing will take you on a poetic journey.

Beautiful Catastrophe includes guest appearances by world-renowned oud player Joseph Tawadros; slide guitar by Folk legend Kristina Olsen, and virtuosic violin playing by the incredible Jess Randall (from the Crooked Fiddle Band).
