Kala Ramnath has achieved worldwide fame as a shining star of the Hindustani Music Scene, transposing ancient Hindustani vocal techniques - but playing them on the violin. This revolutionary concept has seen her labeled as "the singing violin".
Purbayan Chaterjee is a musician of extraordinary dynamics and skill and has been a featured soloist at Indian music festivals worldwide. Purbayan has had the great honor of learning from the great Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. His teaming with the virtuosic Kala Ramnath has created a musical identity enjoyed by audiences across the world.
Rounding off this unique collaboration is Ashis Paul (tabla). Ashis has accompanied and recorded with many of the top musicians in India and is a logical partner to complete Raga Bliss.
